Content Depth Calculator

A free content depth checklist for checking whether a small creator site has enough useful articles, guides, and internal links.

Hey guys,

This tool page helps you estimate whether your site feels too thin. It is not about hitting a magic number. It is about giving readers enough useful pages to explore.

Use this checklist

  • Count how many public content pages are live.
  • Mark which pages are genuinely useful, not just filler.
  • Identify pages under 500 words that may need examples or checklists.
  • Identify at least five deeper pillar pages worth linking to often.
  • Check whether blog posts link back to related guides or tools.
  • Check whether the homepage links to the strongest resources.
  • Remove or improve duplicate and placeholder pages.
  • Group articles into topic clusters instead of random posts.
  • Make sure every page has a clear title and purpose.
  • Add summaries to archive pages so readers know what to click.

How to use it without overthinking

Open your live website and go through the list one item at a time. Mark anything that is missing, unclear, broken, or too vague. The goal is not perfection. The goal is to make the site easier to trust, easier to navigate, and easier to share before you spend time promoting it.

This page is intentionally simple so it can be shared in forums, comments, newsletters, and creator communities when someone asks for a practical checklist.
